Taking Quizzes
Paid UserQuizzes on the PATHS platform are embedded directly within articles as interactive blocks. They are designed to reinforce key concepts and help you retain what you have learned.
Where to Find Quizzes
Quizzes appear inline within article content. As you read through an article, you may encounter a quiz block that tests your understanding of the material covered in that section. Not every article contains a quiz, but many of the core educational articles do.
Quizzes are placed contextually within articles, right after the content they relate to. This helps reinforce concepts while they are fresh.

How Quizzes Work

AI-Generated Quizzes
Some quizzes on the platform are generated using AI based on the article's content. This allows the platform to provide relevant, targeted questions that directly test comprehension of the material. AI-generated quizzes go through an editorial review process to ensure accuracy and quality.
Do not worry about getting a wrong answer. Quizzes are a learning tool, not a graded exam. Getting a question wrong and reading the explanation is one of the most effective ways to learn.
Quiz Results
Quiz responses provide immediate feedback per question. There is no aggregate quiz score or pass/fail threshold. The goal is to support active learning by prompting you to engage with the material rather than passively reading.
Quizzes in Courses vs. Articles
Quizzes can appear in both standalone articles and within course lessons. The format and interaction are the same in both contexts. In courses, completing a quiz does not affect your lesson completion status — you mark lessons complete separately using the Mark as Complete button.
Are quiz answers saved?
Quiz responses provide immediate feedback but are not permanently tracked as a score. You can retake quizzes as many times as you like by revisiting the article or lesson.
Can I skip quizzes?
Yes. Quizzes are optional and do not block your progress. You can scroll past a quiz block and continue reading the article or mark the lesson as complete without answering.
